500 Hour Certification Courses

 

The following courses are required for IYC 500 hour certification. Courses may be taken for advanced personal study, if certification is not desired. You may start your 500 hour certificate in either session but must complete a spring & fall session within a two year period. For more information

AREA OF SPECIALIZATION & ELECTIVES

IYC offers courses in some Areas of Specialization as well as Electives, to fulfill those credits required for the 500 Hour certification. Or for the following course requirements, you also may study with a teacher/s in your community and transfer the hours into International Yoga College with approval. An IYC Faculty member will help design your Area of Specialization.

The Core Curriculum consists of two 10-day Modules offered over the course of a calendar year. To qualify for the 500 Hour Certificate, you must complete the two Modules within a one-year period.

 

Each Applicant will have an IYC Faculty advisor assigned as a mentor throughout the 500-Hour Certificate studies.
